Nectarine

About

Nectarine is a variety of the peach of the genus Prunus , it is a peach without hair or lint-free obtained by genetic mutation of the lint gene by the soft skin gene, it also has a more vivid color (between bright red and yellow ) and are generally smaller. It is a spontaneous variety of peach, so peaches and nectarines are genetically equivalent. From a commercial point of view, peaches and nectarines are sold as different products, but they are in fact the same species. Currently, the highest consumption of nectarines comes from the markets of France, the United Kingdom and Germany.
